I have yet to find a good turkey gravy recipe. It turns out too thin, too thick, or not enough flavor. I tried the roux method, boiled giblets and veggies, and just adding flour to drippings.

Ongoing skin issues, heart problems, arthritus in both shoulders, sleep issues, prostate, and now dental surgery over the next 8 months. I'm expecting to be diagnosed with sleep apnea shortly which will begin another treatment. I'm worried about wearing down psychologically with all of this going on. My insurance covers alot but money is going out faster than it's coming in (though I don't sweat it having always gotten by in the past). I didn't really want to deal with the sleep thing but the dentist and doctors are pushing it. I KNOW MANY OF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH BIGGER HEALTH ISSUES than these, so any advice is welcome.<< less
